General Information

The VAT number for Accurist Watches Ltd is GB523239073. Accurist Watches Ltd is a company registered in England No. 419400. The Registered office of Accurist Watches Ltd is 30 City Road, London, EC1Y 2AB.

1. Price Information

The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the www.accurist.co.uk website.  All prices are correct at time of display online and include VAT where appropriate. In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed..

2. Ordering Goods

Our online store can accept orders originating from and for delivery to UK addresses. We will ask for details of your billing address — this must be the address at which your credit/debit card is registered — and email/phone contact details so we can contact you if we need to discuss your order.  You will be given the opportunity to select a different delivery address.  We will ask for details of the credit/debit card you wish to use to make your payment.  Clicking “Send Order” will generate and transmit your order and display a page confirming the details of your order for your records. If you need to amend your order after it has been generated, please contact us either by email (service@accurist.co.uk) or telephone (020) 7447 3945.  Accurist Watches will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you using the address supplied, however this will not bring into existence a legally binding agreement between us.  All orders placed www.oldenglnadwatches.com are subject to stock availability and to the validation checks described in section 4 below.  No contract will exist between you and Accurist Watches Ltd for the sale of products by us to you until your credit/debit card has been charged.  This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you.  Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded is English.  Details of your order will be retained by Accurist Watches Ltd in our database and these details can be made available on request. 3. Payment

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards.  Payment will be debited to your account before the despatch of your purchase.

4. Validation Checks

All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Accurist Watches Ltd will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to dispatch your order or we may be unable to accept your order.

5. Liability

The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.

6. Delivery of Goods

We can deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom (UK) and internationally with the exception of Thailand. Deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands there may be a slightly longer delivery lead time. This charge will be shown clearly during the checkout process.  Goods can be delivered either to your home address, to an alternative address or to your work.  Your order will be delivered either by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by Courier.  A signature is required for all Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and Courier deliveries.

6a. Delivery Charges

Standard Delivery is free of charge to UK addresses. Express Delivery is £7.50 to UK addresses (for up to 2 watches). For Express Delivery, orders placed Saturday or Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday and orders must be placed by 2pm Friday for Saturday delivery. International delivery to countries in Europe costs £15.00 and delivery to countries outside of Europe costs £21.50.

6b. Delivery Times to UK Addresses

Delivery times are calculated in working days — i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.  For items where Standard Delivery has been selected, we will endeavour to deliver your chosen items to you within 2-3 working days providing the goods are in stock.  Deliveries to non-Mainland or remote locations may take longer. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.  Express Deliveries should arrive within 1 working day. Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot.

IMPORTANT

We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

7. After-sales Service and Guarantees

Accurist watches are guaranteed for 3 years from the date of original purchase against any malfunction of the watch movement due to defective materials or workmanship.  Proof of purchase will be required for any claims under this guarantee.  After-sales service and warranty/guarantee claims will initially be dealt with by the Service Department of Accurist Watches: Customer Services Accurist Watches, PO Box 50783, London NW6 9BS.

8. Restrictions on Ordering and Delivery

We can only accept orders from holders of credit or debit cards registered at UK addresses.We can deliver to most addresses in the U.K. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to non-UK destinations, including the Republic of Ireland. Deliveries to British Forces Posted Overseas are restricted by both size and weight. Please contact us by email at service@accurist.co.uk if you require further details.

9. Complaints and Queries

If you are not happy with any aspect of our online service or if you have any queries or comments relating to an order placed online, please either e-mail us at service@accurist.co.uk, telephone us on , or write to Accurist Watches, PO Box 50783, London NW6 9BS and we will do everything we can to help you.

10. Unwanted Goods

If you decide that you do not want any item which we have delivered then, provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the wrapping and delivery note (as proof of purchase) within 28 days of delivery, we will exchange it or offer a refund.  Return the goods by post quoting your order number and reason for return to — Accurist Watches, PO Box 50783, London NW6 9BS.  You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge), and we suggest you return goods by Royal Mail Registered Delivery.  This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights.  If you post the item to us we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment, within 14 days.

11. Faulty Goods

If you purchase a product from us that is found to be faulty we will supply a replacement product, arrange for a repair or give you a refund of the purchase price. Return the goods by post quoting your order number and reason for return to — Accurist Watches, PO Box 50783, London NW6 9BS.   In these instances, we will refund reasonable return postage charges.  You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge), and we suggest you return goods by Royal Mail Registered Delivery.   This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. If you post the item to us we will endeavour to send you a replacement, arrange for a repair, or refund your payment within 14 days.

12. Colour Reproduction

Reproduction of colour online is as accurate as photographic and electronic processes will allow.

13. Safe Shopping Guarantee

We have used every effort to ensure that shopping on the Internet with Accurist Watches Ltd is safe. Our secure server software encrypts all of your card information sent over the Internet. In processing your order, your information may have to be sent over the Internet more than once. At no point is your order information sent in this way without encryption.

14. WEEE Directive

The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that used electrical and electronic equipment should not be mixed with general domestic waste. There is a separate collection point for these products. The objectives of the European Community’s environment policy are, in particular, to preserve, protect and improve the quality of the environment, protect human health and utilise natural resources prudently and rationally.

Disposal information for consumers

 EU Countries

In accordance with legislation that requires proper treatment, recovery and recycling of used electrical and electronic equipment. Private households within the EU states may return their used electrical and electronic equipment to designated collection points free of charge. Equally return your product to an Accurist stockist or Accurist headquarters, who will see to the products disposal.  Please contact your authority for further details.

Non EU Countries

If you wish to discard this product, please contact your local authorities and ask for the correct method of disposal. Otherwise please return to Accurist headquarters, who will see to the products disposal.
